Sir Iain Colquhoun was born 1523 in Luss, Dumbartonshire, Scotland and died 15 January 1574.

He married Agnes Boyd. She was born 1543 in Luss, Dumbartonshire, Scotland and died 18 July 1584. She was the daughter of Robert Boyd and Margaret Colquhoun.

Their children were:
